Citroen C-Elysée History
1 generation, 2008-2014
In 1994, specifically for the Chinese market, the French company PSA made a compact sedan based on the hatchback Citroen ZX. A simple and unpretentious car was first called Fukang, then - Elysee, and after another upgrade in 2008 the car was named Citroen C-Elysee. In 2009, the model had a hatchback version.
The car was equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine, combined with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission.
Production of the first generation of the model was completed in China in late 2014.
2nd generation, 2012
The compact sedan Citroen C-Elysee is available in 2012. Cars are made in factories in Spain and China, and the main markets for the model are the countries of Eastern and Southern Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America.
Citroen C-Elysee is built on the Citroen C3 hatchback platform, a similar sedan that only differs in appearance, is also produced under the Peugeot brand. As a result of restyling in 2017, the model received an updated design and a new multimedia system.
