Chevrolet Captiva - five-door five-and seven-seat compact crossover, developed by the South Korean division of General Motors. The machine is based on the GM Theta platform, also used in Daewoo Winstorm, Opel Antara, Saturn Vue, GMC Terrain.
In Europe, India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East is sold under the name Chevrolet Captiva, in South Korea under the brand Daewoo Winstorm, in Australia and New Zealand under the brand Holden Captiva.
The car has a steel frame and zones with programmed deformation, absorbing the impact energy. Equipped with ABS with electronic brake force distribution EBV, dynamic ESC stabilization system, hydraulic brake booster HBA, DCS descent control system and active rollover protection system ARP. It is equipped with two front and window airbags and three-point seat belts with pretensioners. Also can be equipped with side airbags.
The first generation Chevrolet Captiva was equipped with a five-speed automatic transmission Aisin Warner AW55-50SN (AF33 according to the classification of Opel Antara), or a mechanical five-speed transmission. The second generation was equipped with automatic transmission of General Motors 5-step 6T45, as well as 6-step 6T50.

Hello my car is a 2011 Captiva 2.4 LT petrol, it has a low take off, it shows an umber P and a spanner while driving and disappear after some time. When switched off it displays a blinking red P. I am concerned what might be the problem please help before I cause more damage to the car.
