Audi A7 Sportback - a five-door lift company Audi AG.
It is the first Audi model in this class-size. Conceived as a competitor to the car market of another German luxury coupe-sedan Mercedes-CLS. In the model range Audi is the next largest after the similar formula body of the Audi A5 Sportback. In the price class, it is located a little lower than the "flagship ship" of the concern Audi A8
For the first time as a sketchy design, the Audi Sportback Concept was demonstrated at the Detroit Motor Show in 2009, and then at the Paris Motor Show in 2010.
Actually as a serial car, which inherited a lot of details from the mentioned concept car, the Audi A7 was presented to the general public on July 26, 2010 in the Munich Museum "Modern Pinatoteka".
The Audi A7 2016 has an updated design, with a lot of emphasis on styling the form. The Dana model has a large body with an amplifier and sloping rear doors, as well as an impressive interior. Also, the version of 2016 is equipped with more powerful engines - a 3-liter gasoline V6 engine with a supercharged power of 333 hp, and a 3-liter turbo diesel V6 engine with 240 hp Both engines are operated in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a quattro system of the Audi brand.
The body of the A7 is built on the original platform, which, according to analysts, is likely to be used later in the design of the new generation of Audi A6 expected from 2011. The A7 model distinguishes a significantly lower "landing" - clearance and as a result its aerodynamic resistance is 0 , 28 Cx.
The outer design of the A7 is characterized by a longer engine compartment, a slow, smooth curve of the roof and a short cut feed. The four-door body formula according to the German classification gives the car a right to be called a "limousine", but according to its own form and its elegance, manufacturers and experts classify the A7 as a "coupe".
In the car behind is the fifth door, which in the German classification is not called a "door", but a lid, a leaf. The presence of this electrically closing body detail brings A7 closer to another Audi competitor, the latest BMW 5 GT-branded model, in which the rear door also has an electric drive. This body shape allows for more efficient use of the luggage compartment. It has a capacity of 535 liters, with back seats displaced in its back, it reaches 1,390 liters.
